Enter the Ninja: My Top 5 Favorite Green Smoothies

It’s no secret at this point that I absolutely, unequivocally, undeniably, indubitably, ADORE my Ninja Blender! Did you hear me? ADORE!!! 😀

That said, I’ve been asked many times about my favorite smoothie blends. I make a green smoothie blend about 2-3 times per week. And, as you know, I MUST have variety so I only rarely make the same smoothie again unless I absolutely, unequivocally, undeniably, indubitably ADORE it like I ADORE my Ninja! 😀

I usually only share my smoothies on my facebook page. That’s because I make them up on the fly (and depending on what ingredients I have on hand which were recently on sale).  Now that I’ve been smoothie blending for a few months, I thought it would be a good idea (for you and for me) if I post the smoothies I absolutely, unequivocally…well, you get where I’m going with this. I sincerely hope you try these blends and ADORE them as I do. And if you haven’t purchased a Ninja blender yet, WHAT are you waiting for???? 😉

These recipes make enough to fill my 9 cup Ninja blender.  Depending on how it’s packed, you may have to blend the fruits/veggies first and add the ice as a second step. It still measures out to a full 9 cups – perfect to refrigerate or freeze for later. Or, if you have a large family like mine, perfect for everyone to enjoy at least one cup.

I try to use fresh produce where possible, but frozen fruits can be used interchangeably. Fresh fruit tends to be sweeter in my opinion. Most greafies (green leafy veggies) are interchangeable as well unless it is an herb.  Still, play around with the blends and find your own favorite. These are all great as is or great starters to build upon!
